Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid California medical license and board certification in Neonatology.
- Proven experience in neonatal intensive care, preferably within Level III or IV NICUs.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varied shift schedules.
- Familiarity with neonatal protocols and life-support systems.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience as a locum or temporary neonatologist.
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Bilingual abilities, with proficiency in Spanish a plus.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Neonatology.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience in a hospital setting.
Other Requirements:
- Availability for varied shifts including weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compliance with all licensing and certification requirements, including valid medical license and neonatal life-support certifications.
- Willingness to travel if needed and to participate in orientation and training sessions.
