Hourly Pay Rate: $218.40

In this vital position, you'll deliver exceptional care within a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), ensuring the well-being of our most fragile patients. Your expertise will help bridge staffing gaps and uphold the highest standards of neonatal health.
Required Skills:
- MD or DO with valid medical license in California
- Board-certified or eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Proven experience in neonatal intensive care settings
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Level IV NICU protocols
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of Neonatology practice
- Previous experience in a Level IV NICU environment is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Availability during scheduled shifts, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility to work 8-hour, 12-hour, or 24-hour shifts as outlined
- Willingness to participate in orientation and adhere to all hospital policies
- Coverage includes travel and licensure reimbursements where applicable
