Neonatology Opening in Torrance, CA Los Angeles 21m Seeking a board certified/eligible Neonatologist to join a compassionate and collaborative team. This position offers an excellent work/life balance and the opportunity to live and practice in a beautiful beachside community within the Los Angeles metropolitan area. * Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Level III NICU * Average daily census: ~12 newborns * Work closely with pediatric sub-specialists including: * Pediatric Surgery * Cardiology * Gastroenterology * ENT * Participate in newborn service: care coordination, family counseling * Support the hospital’s California Children's Services (CCS) designation * Engage in quality initiatives, including participation in the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC) * Be part of a collegial, team-oriented environment * 24/7 in-house coverage required * Local residency or relocation to the area is required Candidate Requirements * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (Must be board eligible within 5 years of residency) – Required * California Medical License or ability to obtain – Required * DEA – Must be obtained prior to start – Required * Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred * Willing to relocate or already local – Required Compensation & Benefits * Annual Salary Range: $240,000 – $300,000 (based on experience) * Comprehensive Benefits Package including: * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Insurance * Health Savings Account & Flexible Spending Account options * 401K Thrift & Profit Sharing Plan * Life Insurance + Supplemental Coverage Options * Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurance * Critical Illness, Hospital, and Accident Insurance * 8 Weeks Paid Parental Leave * Employee Assistance Program Work in a desirable Southern California coastal location with easy access to beaches, hiking, arts, and diverse cultural offerings.
