Job description

Job description We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join a high-acuity Regional Level IV NICU. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert care to critically ill neonates while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of maternal-fetal medicine physicians, obstetric hospitalists, and pediatric subspecialists.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver specialized care to critically ill neonates, including advanced services such as maternal and neonatal transport, whole-body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, palliative care, telemedicine, and a Small Baby Unit

Participate in continuous quality improvement programs to maintain the highest standards of care

Contribute to and benefit from an academic environment with integrated residency and fellowship programs

Qualifications

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine – Required

Post-fellowship experience – Required

Experience as a Neonatologist (list years in notes) – Required

Must hold or be eligible for a California Medical License – Required

Clean malpractice and medical license history – Highly Preferred

DEA license – Required.
