Seeking a fulfilling Neonatology career with work-life balance, academic depth, and affordable living? A well-established 5-physician practice in Topeka, Kansas is looking for a full-time Neonatologist to join their highly respected Level III NICU team.

Position Overview:

  • Title: Neonatologist (Full-Time)

  • Location: Topeka, KS

  • Practice Size: 5 Neonatologists

  • Shift Model:

    • Mix of 8- and 24-hour in-house shifts

    • ~170 hours/month (1.0 FTE)

    • In-house call with backup from home

👶 Clinical Environment:

  • NICU Level: Level III

  • Beds: 36-bed unit

  • Avg. Daily Census: 26

  • Avg. Length of Stay: 19 days

  • Annual Admissions: ~500

  • Advanced Services:

    • High-frequency ventilation

    • Inhaled nitric oxide

    • Whole-body therapeutic cooling

    • aEEG

  • Subspecialty Support: Cardiology, Neurology, General Surgery, Endocrinology

  • Joint Commission Certified in the care of premature infants since 2012

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Pediatrics

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

  • Fellowship-trained in Neonatology – Completed prior to start

  • Kansas License – Or willing to obtain

  • DEA license – Must be obtained prior to start

  • Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred

  • J1/H1B Visa Support – Available
