Shift Description:
-- Scheduled clinic hours plus call (beeper)

Requirements:
-- Board certified and Fellowship
-- Must be licensed in Mississippi or IMLC
-- PALS certification
-- Call Response Time Required: 15 minutes
-- Procedures:
-- Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff)
-- Newborn
-- Ventilation Management (Acute and Chronic)
-- Intubation (ETT/NT)
-- Pediatric
-- Ventilation Management (Acute and Chronic)
-- UVC, UAC, and Hemodialysis catheter placement
-- Chest tube insertion
-- Needle pneumothorax
-- Decompression
-- X-ray and EKG interpretation
-- Suturing minor lacerations
-- Exchange transfusions
-- Evaluation & Management of acute volume/BP issues
-- Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line and PA catheter
-- Diagnostic/Therapeutic taps:
-- Lumbar puncture
-- Paracentesis
-- Thoracentesis
-- Attend High-Risk C-Sections

Assignment Details:
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Admissions (about 1 per 24 hours) and rounding
-- Nursery Level III/NICU
-- Patients per shift: 3-5
-- Phone consults: 4
-- Beds in department: 10
-- Support staff: 2 RNs and 1 MA
-- Callback Percentage: 10%
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 14 days
