  • Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join a team-oriented group providing neonatal care across Level II and Level III NICUs.
  • The position offers a collaborative environment, advanced neonatal technology, and flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to newborns in a 26-bed Level III NICU and a 6-bed Level II NICU
• Manage average daily census of 22 (Level III) and 3 (Level II)
• Utilize advanced neonatal technologies including body cooling, jet ventilation, oscillators, and iNO
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists (pediatric surgery, MFM, OB hospitalists) for comprehensive care
• Participate in teaching initiatives, research, and quality improvement projects
• Supervise and support highly skilled NICU nursing and ancillary staff
• Provide coverage through flexible scheduling, including weekends and call rotation

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine – Required
• Nevada medical license (or willingness to obtain) – Required
• Clean malpractice and license history – Preferred
• Open to both experienced neonatologists and recent graduates – Required
• Visa candidates (J1/H1B) – Not accepted

Working Hours

• Flexible clinical shifts in Level II and III NICUs
• Daytime and on-call coverage included in team rotation
• Weekend coverage required, with flexible scheduling for work/life balance

Skills

• Expertise in neonatal intensive care management (Level II & III NICUs)
• Proficiency in advanced neonatal technologies (jet ventilation, oscillators, body cooling, iNO)
• Strong collaboration with subspecialists and interdisciplinary teams
• Teaching, mentorship, and quality improvement participation
