Job description

Job description Join a well-established, collaborative neonatology team at a leading Level III NICU with a 30-bed unit and an average daily census of 17. Provide advanced neonatal care in a regional perinatal center supporting over 4,000 deliveries and 400 NICU admissions annually. Engage in teaching opportunities and enjoy a high quality of life in a vibrant community near Princeton, NYC, and Philadelphia.

Job Responsibilities

โ€ข Provide expert neonatal care including advanced therapies such as HFOV, nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia
โ€ข Manage a diverse patient load in a 30-bed NICU with an average daily census of 17
โ€ข Participate in a mixed schedule of 24-hour in-house coverage and 10-hour day shifts
โ€ข Collaborate with a team of 7 neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams
โ€ข Contribute to teaching medical students, Family Medicine residents, and OB/GYN residents (starting 2025)
โ€ข Support regional perinatal care and coordinate closely with obstetric and pediatric teams

Qualifications

โ€ข Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology (required)
โ€ข NJ Medical License or willingness to obtain (required)
โ€ข DEA & CSR/CDS certifications (must be obtained prior to start)
โ€ข Neonatology fellowship completion
โ€ข Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred)
โ€ข Experience in neonatology practice
โ€ข Willingness to relocate or live locally

Working Hours

โ€ข Combination of 24-hour in-house coverage and 10-hour day shifts
