An exciting career opportunity for a Neonatologist to join a newly expanded neonatology program in Appleton, WI. This role offers collaboration between pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists in providing comprehensive, family-centered neonatal care. Physicians will be part of a dedicated team supporting newborns in a Level III NICU and Newborn Nursery, with opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and professional growth.

Job Responsibilities

โ€ข Provide inpatient care in the Level III NICU and Newborn Nursery.
โ€ข Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and other neonatologists to deliver coordinated, family-centered care.
โ€ข Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) and clinical research projects.
โ€ข Cover the NICU with 24/7 in-house presence and daytime rounding.
โ€ข Exchange best practices with a large network of neonatologists nationwide.
โ€ข Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to ensure excellent neonatal outcomes.

Qualifications

โ€ข Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine โ€“ REQUIRED.
โ€ข Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (completed prior to start) โ€“ REQUIRED.
โ€ข Wisconsin medical license (or willingness to obtain) โ€“ REQUIRED.
โ€ข DEA license (must be obtained prior to start; no exemptions) โ€“ REQUIRED.
โ€ข Eligible candidates include both experienced neonatologists and recent fellows.
โ€ข Locums candidates not accepted.

Working Hours

โ€ข 24/7 in-house coverage model.
โ€ข Day rounding plus overnight presence.
โ€ข Shared schedule among a team of four neonatologists.
