Flexible shifts: 12-hour or 24-hour (days & nights available)

Work Details

Level II NICU | 6 beds
-
Nursery census: 5–10 patients/day
-
NICU census: 10–15 patients/day (max ~20)

Must attend deliveries and resuscitations

Some delivery responsibility, no on-call return required

EMR: Cerner
Support Staff:
-
Lab techs, Anatomic Pathology Technologist, Pathologist Assistant

Works alongside existing Neonatology & Nursery staff
Requirements
-
Board Certification: Neonatology (BC only, no BE)
-
Licensure: Active DC license only (no IMLC considered)

Experience: At least 2 years in Level II NICU

Certifications: NRP, BLS, DEA, DC CSR

Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation, DR coverage, routine NICU procedures
Credentialing: 45–60 days (emergency review possible)
