Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist for short-term locum coverage at a well-supported Level II+ NICU practice setting in New York.
🕒 Shift Details
- Start Date: ASAP

Total: 7 shifts per block over 1.5 weeks

24-Hour Shifts:
-
Day: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (in-house)

Night: Out-of-hospital call (6:00 PM – 8:00 AM)

🏥 Practice Environment

Setting: Level II+ NICU
-
Census:
-
15-bed NICU (ADC 4.5)
-
Assist in rounding on mother-baby unit (ADC ~11)

Deliveries: Attend when requested
-
Support Staff: Pediatricians, nursery nurses, lactation consultants, respiratory therapists, and social workers

Team: 4 neonatologists in the group

Supervision: No supervision of other healthcare providers

EMR: Cerner

✅ Requirements

Board Certified in Neonatology

Active New York Medical License
-
Certifications: BLS, NALS, PALS (American Heart Association preferred)
