We are seeking a Permanent Neonatologist in Georgia.

Position Details:
Patient Population: Newborns requiring Level II NICU care, including high-risk and C-section deliveries
Setting: Level II NICU at Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center (119-bed acute care hospital, part of Piedmont Healthcare)
Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for newborns in Level II NICU

• Attend high-risk and C-section deliveries

• Cover 12-bed newborn nursery, including well-baby care when pediatricians unavailable

• Round in-house during the day

• Take call from home overnight

• Collaborate with nurses and allied staff

• Participate in quality improvement and care coordination

• Support newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed

Required Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation, newborn stabilization, and Level II NICU procedures
EMR System: Epic (advanced EMR technology adopted by Piedmont system)
Support Staff: Nursing and allied health professionals
Days Per Month: Not specified
On-Call/Weekends: Call responsibilities from home at night; weekend coverage likely included in call rotation

Submission Requirements:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatology - REQUIRED

• Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED

• Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED

• Experience or training in Level II NICU care - REQUIRED
