Neonatologist – Full-Time, Perm Placement
Location: Cartersville, GA (Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center)

Join Pediatrix Medical Group, a renowned leader in neonatal and pediatric care, in a prestigious full-time Neonatologist role at our newly established Level II NICU in Cartersville, Georgia. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive neonatal care to infants in a Level II NICU environment.
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and perform C-section coverage as needed.
  • Manage a 12-bed newborn nursery, including well-baby care when pediatricians are unavailable.
  • Conduct daytime in-house rounding to monitor patient progress and plan treatments.
  • Participate in after-hours coverage through on-call duties from home.
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and efforts to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Support neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and emergency responses as required.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.
  • Valid medical license in Georgia or eligible for licensure.
  • Demonstrated experience or training in neonatal care and resuscitation protocols.
  • Strong team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
