We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist for a locum tenens assignment at a new facility in Washington, D.C., starting in May 2025.
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: May 2025 (tentative upon credentialing)
- Duration: 2 months, with potential to extend
- Location: Washington, D.C.
- Facility: New Level II NICU
- Shift Options: Flexible 12-hour or 24-hour shifts; both day and night shifts available
- Census: 6-bed NICU; approximately 5–10 patients in the nursery and up to 15 in the NICU
- EMR: Cerner
- Responsibilities: Neonatal resuscitation, delivery attendance, and nursery coverage; no on-call duties
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Neonatology
- Active D.C. medical license (due to credentialing timeline)
- NRP certification
- DEA and CDS certifications
- Minimum of Level II NICU experience
Compensation & Benefits:
- Rate: $200+/hour
- Travel & Lodging: Covered
- Malpractice Insurance: Provided
Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
