CoxHealth, a large integrated health system in Springfield, Missouri, is currently seeking a BC/BE neonatologist to join a hospital-based practice. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides excellence in neonatal care.
Job Highlights:
- The modern, Level III NICU has single-patient rooms with a 40+ patient capacity equipped and arranged for family-oriented care.
- The unit is staffed by 6 neonatologists and 5 neonatal nurse practitioners, with 24/7 in-house coverage.
- High-frequency ventilation, iNO, and total body cooling.
- Both air and dedicated ground neonatal transport services are available.
- Over 3,500 deliveries and nearly 500 NICU admissions per year.
- Multiple pediatric subspecialties including cardiology, neurology, anesthesiology, endocrinology, and gastroenterology provide consultative support.
- In addition, MFM specialists are on staff.
