Perm Physician - Maternal-Fetal Medicine | Richmond, VA

This is an outstanding opportunity to provide specialized outpatient care within a well-established, reputable health system. Position Highlights:
- Type: Full-time or Part-time (guaranteed hours; no per diem)
- Location: Outpatient clinics in Richmond, VA, with coverage at two hospitals featuring Level II and Level III NICUs
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Responsibilities:
- Management of outpatient maternal-fetal consultations and follow-up care
- Limited inpatient procedures including cerclages (approximately 20-30 annually) and in-office Amniocentesis
- Collaboration with a dedicated team of Nurse Practitioners and neonatologists
- Participation in patient education, high-risk pregnancy management, and fetal surveillance
- Work Environment:
- No deliveries required
- Support from a 2+ physician MFM team offering consult-only services
- Utilization of Viewpoint and EPIC electronic health record systems
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Minimum of 1 year of MFM experience preferred; new fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply
- Resident within the immediate Richmond area; relocation may be necessary
- Valid and current medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and team collaboration
Candidate Requirements:
- No long-distance commuters (greater than 1 hour)
- No candidates with lapsed certifications unless already renewed
- Not suitable for locum, 1099, or visa sponsorship candidates
- Not open to alternative shift schedules or part-time casual roles without guaranteed hours
