- Specialty: Neonatologist (Physician)
- Start Date: 5/20/2024 - As soon as credentialed
- End Date: 12/28/2024
- Schedule: Blue Team - lower acuity - 8:30a - 2:pm Monday through Sunday (38.5 hr/week), 2-5pm Break, 5p-8a - night call from home (50% chance call back to facility). Call back rate will be the same as the day rate.
- Call: Blue attending will take nighttime incoming transport calls and arrange for transport and admission (red attending takes day incoming transport calls)
- Setting: NICU Level IV, Trauma Level 4
- Patient Mix:
- Requirements: Must be Neonatal board certified and have NRP certification.
Additional Details:
- License: AZ
- Willing to License?: Prefer someone with an AZ license or with an ACTIVE IMLC.
- Board Certification: BC
- Patient Census: There are 38 NICU beds. Average number of hospital patients per physician per day is 15 for NICU
- Realistic timeframe for Creds: 30-60 Days
- Other Information: Rounding on 15 semi-ICU babies, writing notes, helping with admissions to NICU, attending high-risk deliveries, assisting with consults. Will be in-house.NNP admits after hours and will discuss the patient over the phone. The attending on call will have to come in if less than 28 weeks premature baby. Any cardiac baby/neurosurgical/unit babies that are critical require night attending to come into the facility. Responding to in-house codes are for neonatology patients only.
