Newborn Hospitalist – Division of Neonatology

CHOC Children’s Specialists in beautiful Southern California is seeking a pediatrician for a Newborn, Well Baby, Hospitalist opportunity with our community programs.

Responsibilities will include providing quality care to newborns. Primary placement will be at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. Other hospitals in Orange County could be included in the future.

  • We are a growing program within a large, well-established group.

  • Opportunities in quality improvement, safety measures and administrative activities available.

  • All daytime clinical hours M-F schedule from 8am to 4pm with no call and shared weekend rounding from 8am to 2pm.

  • 24/7 Neonatal Support

  • Candidates must be eligible for a California medical license, or have a MD/DO degree, and be BC/BE in Pediatrics.

Open to pediatric resident candidates, however post-residency experience in inpatient pediatric care is preferred. We are seeking an independent physician who is seeking a career in neonatal hospital medicine, enjoys teaching and has the desire to contribute to enhancing the quality of care for children.
