Newborn Hospitalist – Division of Neonatology

CHOC Specialists in beautiful Southern California is seeking a Newborn Hospitalist for our community programs. Responsibilities will include providing quality care to newborns. Primary placement will be at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. Other hospitals in Orange County could be included in the future. We are a growing program within a large, well-established group. Opportunities in quality improvement, safety measures and administrative activities available. All clinical hours are daytime.

Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted California medical license, have a MD/DO degree, and be BC/BE in Pediatrics. Completion of a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine or post-residency experience in inpatient pediatric care is preferred. We are seeking an independent physician who is seeking a career in neonatal hospital medicine, enjoys teaching and has the desire to contribute to enhancing the quality of care for children.
