Seeking Neonatologist to Join Growing Practice in Level III NICU in Richmond, VA! - $30K Start Date Bonus and Relocation Bonus!

Envision Physician Services is seeking full-time board-certified Neonatologist's for our practice that supports Johnston-Willis Hospital and Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia

  • $30K Start Date Bonus!

  • Staffing Model/Schedule
    • 2 Neonatologists, 4.5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
    • 24 hr. shifts for NNPs
    • Schedule: One week on / one week off, for total of 26 weeks on/26 weeks off annually, with 8 hours in-house daily, anticipated to be 8am to 4pm, then 16 hours out of house call with 30-minute response time
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Attend deliveries & facilitate admissions
  • Manage NICU and Newborn Nursery patients
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds Round on low volume Newborn Nursery at Chippenham briefly during the morning (ADC: 4)

Johnston-Willis is a 292-bed facility with a brand new 20 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that opened in February 2021. The new facility provides individual private rooms that allow parents to remain with their babies for the duration of their care.

  • Johnston-Willis Hospital Data:
    • Deliveries – 1,700
    • NICU ADC: 15
    • Newborn ADC: 9
  • High frequency ventilation (HFOV and HFJV), inhaled nitric oxide, therapeutic hypothermia
  • Sub-specialty support from cardiology, ophthalmology and neurology; with other sub-specialty support via phone from VCU

Chippenham Hospital is a 466-acute bed hospital with a Level I trauma provisional accreditation. The birth center is designed with spacious labor and delivery and recovery suites, a mother/baby unit with couplet care, advanced equipment, and easy access to the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Johnston-Willis Hospital.
