Medical Diretor Needed in Reno Nevada

Envision Physician Services is seeking a Neonatologist to join our family in Reno, NV. Opening as a brand-new Level 2 NICU with 12 beds in January of 2023, NNSMC has goals to expand into a state-of-the-art Level 3 facility to serve the growing Northern Nevada Community. With current construction of a new medical office building across the street, a sharp increase in delivery volume is expected in 2023-2024. We are looking for a Neonatologist that can be central to that growth, and lead the team in program development and excellent quality outcomes.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists​
  • 1 Medical Director responsible for program development, community outreach, and policy and procedure development
• Schedule: Week on/off schedule (Off 26 weeks per year)
• Responsibilities: NICU: Admissions & Rounding. Cover nursery and Well Baby, attend high-risk deliveries
• Candidate must be comfortable with deliveries, resuscitation, and stabilization prior to transport
• Deliveries (900/yr.)
• Trauma designation: Level II
• Envision Pediatric hospitalist covers Pediatric unit.
• Pediatric subspecialty support includes Pediatric Radiology, Anesthesia, and Pediatric Intensivist & Infectious Disease available via telemedicine
