Seeking a BE/BC Neonatologist to join Montana's most advanced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Backed by state-of-the-art equipment, the highly experienced staff works as a team to provide expert care. Neonatologists work closely with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, registered nurses and respiratory therapists, all of whom have specialized training to provide special attention to these extra-special infants. Nurses in NICU have not only years of experience in caring for special needs infants, but also years of experience on the same care-giving team. NICU includes:
•250 admissions per year (average daily census of 12 patients)
•24 bed Level 3B, single patient rooms
•24/7 "out of house" coverage by board certified neonatologists
•1 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
•Neonatal flight team consisting of NNP, RN, RT
•Nitric oxide therapy
•High risk perinatology services
•Pediatric cardiology, neurosurgery, and general pediatric surgery by specially trained surgeons
•Specialty clinics through the MT DPHHS including metabolic, endocrine, cystic fibrosis and genetics
•Retcam screening program
•Gentle ventilation techniques including HFOV and RAM CPAP
•Care for infants 23 weeks through post term
•High risk infant screening clinics
•Speech and physical therapy services as needed
•Participate in the Vermont Oxford Database as well as quality improvement collaboratives
