Job Responsibilities

• Manage neonatal patients, including resuscitation and care of 32-week preemies and up
• Perform neonatal airway management, intubations, and stabilization
• Provide pediatric care primarily involving NICU management

Qualifications

• Active California medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Clean professional record; no malpractice issues or medical board actions

Working Hours

• Coverage includes a 24-hour call from 6 AM to 6 AM

Skills

• Proficient in ventilation management and neonatal procedures such as UVC/UAC placement and lumbar puncture
• Ability to handle emergency situations like needle pneumothorax decompression
• Preferred skills include chest tube insertion and X-ray interpretation
