Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Neonatology
Join a dedicated healthcare team at a renowned facility in Southfield, Michigan, seeking a fellowship-trained Neonatologist for in-house coverage 4-6 times a month. This position is at a Level 3 NICU, offering a supportive environment with a team of experienced neonatologists. Your expertise will be valued as you provide care from 7 PM to 7 AM, attending to the needs of neonates during critical hours.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide in-house coverage at a Level 3 NICU.
- Attend C-sections as required.
- Transfer neonates when necessary.
- Manage an average daily caseload of 12 patients.
- Document patient care using Cerner/Ecare/PowerChart EMR.
- Collaborate with a team of neonatologists for optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained in Neonatology.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neonatology.
- Clean background check.
- Availability to work 4-6 shifts per month.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Michigan medical license (required).
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Self-Query NPDB report (to be pulled within the month).
