Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Neonatology in Redding, CA

You will round in the NICU and cover calls from nursing staff, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained for our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Round in the NICU at least once per day and respond to calls from nursing staff as patient conditions require.
• Provide necessary procedures, including ventilatory assistance and administration of cardiac pressors.
• Supervise and teach Family Practice Residents during their Nursery rotation.
• Coordinate with NICU nurses and ensure proper patient care protocols are followed.
• Maintain documentation using Cerner Care B EMR.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.
• Substantial recent experience covering neonatology services (not pediatrics).
• Clean malpractice history.
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active state medical license.
• BLS, NRP, and DEA certifications during credentialing.
• Must be recognized as a paneled member of California Children Services (CCS).
