Job Opportunity: Permanent Physician - Neonatology in Topeka, KS

Join a dedicated team of professionals at a Level-III, 36-bed NICU in Topeka, Kansas. This vibrant city offers affordability and is conveniently located near major university towns with excellent subspecialty support and advanced neonatal services. We are seeking a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to provide comprehensive care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide a full range of neonatal intensive care services in a Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 26 patients.
• Manage advanced neonatal therapies including High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total Body Cooling, and amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG).
• Collaborate with subspecialty support teams including Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including 5 neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs).
• Participate in patient care coverage, including potential call and weekend duties as per department policy.

Qualifications:

• Open to Board Eligible and Board Certified candidates in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Clean malpractice and license history is preferred.
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) is required.
• Willing to obtain a Kansas license if not already held.
• Visa sponsorship available; J1 Visa candidates welcome.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Kansas state medical license (or the willingness to obtain one).
• DEA registration must be obtained prior to starting.
