Join Our Team as a Neonatologist in Santa Monica, CA!
Providence St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA, is actively seeking a dedicated Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to join their dynamic and collaborative team in a thriving Community Level III NICU, providing comprehensive 24/7 in-house coverage in beautiful sunny Southern California.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing expert clinical care in a Community Level III NICU with an average daily census of five infants.
- Managing newborns delivered at the facility, which performs approximately 2,000 births annually.
- Participating fully in a strong perinatology program with multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Supporting and engaging in quality improvement initiatives through participation in the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative.
- Offering compassionate care to newborns and collaborating with families and healthcare teams.
- Providing continuous 24/7 in-house clinical coverage, ensuring prompt response to all neonatal needs.
- Opportunity for part-time or full-time employment based on preference.
- Not accepting Locum or visa candidates.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Neonatology.
- Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Certification preferred.
- Clean malpractice and medical license history – Highly preferred.
- Willingness to provide 24/7 in-house coverage – Required.
- Residency within the immediate local area is required; relocation may be necessary.
License and Certification Requirements:
- California Medical License or ability to obtain – Required.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatology – Required.
