Join Our Team as a Neonatologist in Cartersville, GA

Pediatrix Medical Group, a national leader in neonatal and pediatric care, is thrilled to announce a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Neonatologist to join our newly established Level II NICU at Piedmont Cartersville Regional Medical Center. This facility is nationally ranked and located in the charming and rapidly growing suburb of Cartersville, just 45 minutes north of downtown Atlanta.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide care to newborns requiring Level II NICU support.
• Attend high-risk and C-section deliveries.
• Cover a 12-bed newborn nursery, including well-baby care when pediatricians are unavailable.
• Round in-house during the day.
• Take call from home overnight.
• Work in a collaborative environment with nurses and allied staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement and care coordination initiatives.
• Support newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed.
• Not accepting Locums candidates.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatology.
• Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Completed fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Experience or training in Level II NICU care.
• DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatology.
• Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain.
• DEA certification required before start date.
