We are an established and well-respected Neonatology practice located in the vibrant city of Wichita, Kansas. We are excited to invite applications for a full-time Neonatologist position as part of our evolving quality improvement (QI) team-based management opportunity. Job Responsibilities:

• Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist position available
• Work within an 8-physician practice at Wesley Medical Center
• Engage in a combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule—approximately 170 hours per month of in-house coverage
• Provide in-house call and backup call from home
• Manage a Level-III, 60-bed NICU with roughly 1,000 admissions annually
• Oversee the intensive and special care units with an average daily census of 54
• Perform all services except ECMO and heart surgery
• Receive support from residents and nurse practitioners
• Collaborate with KU School of Medicine – Wichita, with ample QI and research opportunities
• Open to new Fellow graduates who are board certified in Pediatrics
• Not accepting Locums candidates at this time
• Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics [REQUIRED]
• Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship working toward BC) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine [REQUIRED]
• Kansas medical license (or willing to obtain) [REQUIRED]
• Completed fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine [REQUIRED]
• Clean malpractice and license history [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) [REQUIRED]
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start) [REQUIRED]

License and Certification Requirements:

• Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start)
• Kansas license (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA
