Job Opportunity: Physician - Neonatology in Las Vegas, NV

Join a practice in the largest, most comprehensive children’s hospital in the state! We are seeking additional Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologists to join our practice at an esteemed children's hospital in Las Vegas, NV. This collaborative group is committed to providing the highest level of care to infants and their families.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide care in a 72-bed, Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 60.
  • Manage neonatal services including ECMO, iNO, high-frequency ventilation, and total body cooling.
  • Contribute to an active transport program and participate in resuscitation efforts with a dedicated team.
  • Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, hospitalists, and ER physicians.
  • Engage with a busy cardiovascular surgery program, along with general surgery and the management of high volume ELBWs.
  • Participate in resident teaching opportunities through our academic affiliation.
  • Adhere to shared clinical practice guidelines for the continuity of care.
  • Welcome new Fellow graduate candidates through 2025. Open to visa candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Current NV medical license or willingness to obtain.
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
  • Completion of a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship before the start date.
  • DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start date.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Nevada medical license.
  • DEA required prior to starting the position.
  • CSR/CDS required prior to starting the position.
