Exciting Opportunity for a Neonatologist in Las Vegas, NV!

Join a dynamic practice at the largest, most comprehensive children’s hospital in Nevada! We are seeking additional Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologists to join our dedicated team at a state-of-the-art facility. As part of our collaborative group, you will have the chance to provide the highest level of neonatal care in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide care in a 72-bed, Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 60.
  • Utilize advanced services, including neonatal ECMO, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), high frequency ventilation, and total body cooling.
  • Participate in an active transport program with a dedicated resuscitation team.
  • Work alongside full pediatric subspecialty and surgical support.
  • Collaborate with pediatric intensivists, hospitalists, and pediatric ER physicians.
  • Engage in a busy cardiovascular surgery program and high volume ELBWs.
  • Get involved in resident teaching opportunities with academic affiliations.
  • Contribute to shared clinical practice guidelines to ensure continuity of care.
  • Open to new Fellow graduate candidates through 2025; visa candidates welcome.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Eligible for or already possess a Nevada medical license.
  • Completion of fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine prior to start.
  • DEA and CSR/CDS required (must be obtained prior to start).
  • Must not have applied directly to this position if working through an agency.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start).
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics required.
  • Board Certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required.
  • Active Nevada medical license (or willing to obtain).
