Join Our Neonatology Team in Macon, Georgia!

We are seeking an additional Neonatologist to join our outstanding group of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at our Macon, Georgia practice. Our facility features a state-of-the-art, Level-III NICU, located within the New Children's Hospital that opened in 2019. This Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our smallest patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to newborns in a 66-bed, state-of-the-art, Level-III NICU.
• Conduct daily rounds and be on-call from home every other night.
• Utilize advanced neonatal services, including high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia.
• Collaborate with experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners for exceptional coverage and support.
• Participate in clinical appointments to Mercer Medical School.
• Engage with subspecialty support for comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• GA medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days of active status).
• DEA license must be obtained prior to start.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Valid Georgia medical license.
• DEA registration required before commencing the position.
