Job Opportunity: Permanent Physician - Neonatology in Harrisonburg, VA

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist to join our expanding practice at a leading facility in beautiful Harrisonburg, VA. This is a Level II opportunity in the stunning Shenandoah Valley, providing a supportive environment for both professional growth and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a 6-bed Level II special care nursery with 24-hour shifts and block scheduling.
• Provide family-centered healthcare by collaborating with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists.
• Access to sub-specialty support when needed.
• Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and clinical research projects.
• Exchange best practices and ideas with a network of over 400 NICUs and several thousand Pediatrix providers.
• Open to commuters; however, locum candidates will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (required).
• Virginia state license (or willing to obtain) (required).
• DEA License (must be obtained prior to start).
• Not accepting visa-supported candidates (J1 or H1B).
