Job Title: Neonatologist
Join a thriving team of over 16 Neonatologists and 8 Nurse Practitioners at a premier facility located in the suburbs of Las Vegas, NV. The Summerlin Hospital Medical Center features a 52-bed, Level-III NICU and supports a diverse range of neonatal care, with approximately 1,700 annual admissions from over 10,000 births each year. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals looking to be part of a well-established Neonatology practice in a vibrant city.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care in a Level-III NICU setting.
- Participate in 24-hour shifts and in-house on-call duties.
- Collaborate with a team of Neonatologists and Nurse Practitioners.
- Rotate among four area hospitals, spending one month at each location.
- Utilize advanced neonatal care practices, including iNO therapy and total body cooling.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research programs.
- Participate in an active transport program with comprehensive subspecialty support.
- Maintain board eligibility or certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report – active within the last 30 days.
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred.
- Ability to work toward Board Certification within five years of eligibility.
- Open to both experienced and recent graduates through 2025.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Nevada medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to starting.
