Schedule :
NICU shifts are 24 hours. Typically, they're in house from 9a to when they're done with their notes. They will be on call overnight, but we have an in house Nurse Practitioner 24/7, which keeps the calls very minimal. Typically, they only have to come in when the NP goes on transport and for deliveries less than 28 weeks.

There are 1400 deliveries per year. .
