NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, located in Southern Brooklyn, accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery. Responsibilities:

Seeking full time Neonatologist to provide newborn and infant pediatric patient care and health care maintenance for the patients of South Brooklyn Hospital.


• To care for newborn and infants in the NICU Hospitalist Service, as well as the Mother Baby Unit, Labor and Delivery units.
• Referring patients to the specialty and sub-specialty clinics as indicated and coordinate the care provided by the specialists.
• To serve as a consultant for patients referred by other physicians in Coney Island Hospital.
• Coordinate the care of specialists as required/needed.
• Supervise the work of Residents and Physician Assistants assigned to work with them.
• Provide quality of care.
• Consult the management protocols, standard textbooks. journals, etc. in their management of patients and will also consult clinic Chiefs and other consultants, as necessary.
• Perform circumcision procedures and care.

Join a team of 4 full time Neonatologists and a Neonatal Hospitalist team to provide 24 hour / 7 day per week in house coverage. We are a Level II NICU and we average 1,200 births per year. Approximately 1/3rd of all of our newborns are currently being admitted to the NICU. Qualifications:

Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License

BC/BE in Neonatology
Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required prior to hire
Bilingual English and any second language is a plus (although not a requirement)

Annual Base Salary Range: $ 165,790.00 - 215,000.00
