A facility is seeking a neonatologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Florida.
Candidates with 1 week per month of consistent availability can apply. No perm hires in the works yet. Florida-based clinicians that can drive into the facility are highly preferred. Active FL license and clean background required. This will be a new level 1 plus NICU (plus meaning that they may try to keep babies with OB glucose issues). They will transport any baby with acute respiratory issues. 24HR call coverage model for the MD. Expectation is the MD be in-house 40hours per week Monday Friday and then round and go on the weekend. 24/7 in-house NNP coverage. Have 2 private OB/GYN groups that would handle circs. Would round on all babies not assigned to one of the private peds groups in the area.
