Seeking a BC Medical Director to join a well-established group for a facility in North Carolina that will commence a program for the well-being of seniors with chronic care needs and their families.

* General Responsibilities:
- Provides general medical direction and supervision of the medical aspects of participant care
- Conduct history and physical on new participants and event-based and periodic reassessments.
- Develop medical treatment plan, and provide medically necessary services in the range of locations in which participants may reside.
- Supervise the health care and treatment program as developed by the interdisciplinary team.
- Perform physical examinations, order and evaluate appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests, and record results in a systematic manner.
- Discuss each participant’s medical conditions and prognosis with him/her and their caregiver to assist them in expressing their wishes and planning their future care

The facility conducts programs which providers all-inclusive care for the elderly and their family. The group uses an interdisciplinary team approach to provide patients with medical, social, nutritional and rehabilitative services. Through this program, it allows the frail and elderly to receive all the care they need in their own homes.

The thriving city is located in the southeastern region of the state and is 65 miles away from the capital of the state, 200 miles away from Charlotte, which is a major commercial center. The community has a revitalized downtown area, complete with retail shops and dining establishments. They also have a plethora of historic sites, museums, local breweries, local sporting events, and shopping areas across the city. Fort Bragg, which is one of the largest US Army installation in the country, is completely adjacent to the city.
