**VP Medical Affairs job opening in Manitowoc, WI** Located 40 miles from Green Bay, WI and 80 miles from Milwaukee, WI - Beautiful location on one of the Great Lakes **Position Details:** - Full-time - Permanent - Seeking a Vice President, Medical Affairs . This position leads a 90-provider medical group practice with 40% clinical practice in our Primary Care clinic setting and 60% executive leadership, with an estimated 2 days/week clinical and 3 days/per week administrative. - 40 hours per week - 1st Shift **Responsibilities:** - Providing strategic and organizational leadership to Holy Family Memorials CEO and Board regarding quality, medical care delivery, population health, provider group governance and network wide care operations in a dyad relationship with the President/CEO. - Designing and overseeing all areas of provider culture, medical staff and medical director functions and integrating these with operational service line deployment and provider leadership development. - Overseeing and maintaining accountability for all network physicians/providers, network-wide quality and patient safety and provider continuity and access by leading recruitment and retention, and participating in the contracting process in collaboration with the Executive Medical Directors. - Maintaining overall responsibility for the medical activities of the HFM network to ensure the highest level of patient care in HFM managed facilities as well as affiliates. - Provider relations, performance management, and network financial performance with a specific focus on improving clinic and hospital operations in a service line, integrated manner with the President/CEO **Benefits Information:** - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Retirement savings plan - 403(b) Plan - Group term life insurance - Earned time off - Short-term disability - Extensive employee perks **Qualifications:** - Graduate of an accredited medical school, completion of an appropriate medical or surgical residency, board certification in an appropriate specialty and WI medical licensure required. - Masters degree in medical management, business, health care administration or other related area and certification as a physician executive are strongly preferred. - A minimum of 5 years direct patient care experience in a clinical practice setting required. - Must have 5 or more years of experience in physician leadership roles involving operations, quality, performance improvement and medical staff governance. - Substantial leadership roles in a medical group practice setting strongly preferred. - Must be an exceptional leadership role model demonstrating excellence in listening, communication, organization, judgment, mentoring and analytical skills. - The ability to build relationships, inspire, and to interact effectively with executive, physician, professional, technical, and support team members and board while demonstrating a values-centered approach is essential. - Must be comfortable with leading in a faith-based organization **Hospital and Community Details:** - Manitowoc is located in Wisconsin on the breathtaking shores of Lake Michigan.
