Director of Transplant Surgery position in the Albuquerque New Mexico market. JOB#55975
Job Details:
- Board Certified or Eligible Transplant Surgeon
- Fellowship Trained in Transplant Surgery is a must
- Active New Mexico license or Willing to Obtain one
- Seeking an experienced transplant surgeon for a full-time surgeon position and to serve as the surgical director for their well-established kidney and pancreas transplant program
- Experience in adult kidney and pancreas transplantation, laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy surgeries, and multiorgan procurements
- Candidates must be willing to work collaboratively with the transplant nephrologists and multidisciplinary transplant team to provide care for transplant recipients and living donors throughout all phases of care
- Additional responsibilities include oversite of the transplant surgical team to include mentoring less experienced transplant surgeons
