Northeastern Ohio wound care provider is actively recruiting a Chief Medical Officer to provide medical oversight, expertise, and leadership.
Position Overview
- New CMO will be a member of the Senior Executive Team and will report to the CEO.
- Year 1- 50/50 Administrative / Clinical; builds to a more administrative heavy (80 /20) role over 3 years.
- A typical schedule consists of weekly rounding Monday-Friday 7 am - 4 pm, no call, no weekend or evening rounds.
- New CMO will set the overall clinical vision, direct Wound Care Education, Clinical Auditing, Quality Assurance, Healthcare Compliance, and Clinical Credentialing departments.
- Travels, attends and participates in client and prospective client presentations and meetings as needed.
- Develops recommendations regarding patient care protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Develops and leads innovative clinical programs such as telemedicine.
Education and Experience
- MD or DO required
- Unrestricted medical licensure required
- Current DEA certificate required
- Previous wound care or procedural experience preferred
- Board Certification in Specialty preferred
- Previous leadership role preferred
