Seeking Dermatology Faculty & Residency Program Director | Little Rock, Arkansas

Merritt Hawkins, the nation’s premier academic search firm is proud to partner with Department of Dermatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock to hire a Residency Program Director as well as additional faculty. We are seeking a candidate with a strong desire to teach residents, fellows and medical students and aspirations to work in academic environment, however candidates from both private practice and academic backgrounds are welcome to apply. There is flexibility and potential for professional growth.

Position Highlights:
  • Renowned academic teaching institution—410 bed, state-of-the-art hospital
  • Affiliated with Children's and Veterans Hospital.
  • Established ACGME accredited categorical residency training program with 9 residents.
  • Brand new, state of the art clinic with 14 exam rooms, 3 procedure rooms, lasers, and dedicated space for clinical trials
  • Ability to focus on general Dermatology or a subspecialty interest
  • Work with a team that is supportive, collegial and innovative
  • Deliver high quality and compassionate patient care while giving back by teaching and mentoring the next generation of dermatologists
