Job Description

Medical Director needed to join a team in Los Angeles, California. The primary focus of the Medical Director is to oversee physicians and advanced practitioners and ensure that patients receive quality and timely care.

Details:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Responsible for the administration and management of outpatient services
  • Manage department budget, medical supply inventory, workflow processes
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Meeting or exceeding productivity goals and targets assigned by the Chief Medical Director
  • Maintaining and improving quality assurance of systems and patient care

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Medicine or Doctorate in Osteopathy
  • Unrestricted California medical license
  • Unrestricted surgeon license
  • DEA certificate
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of prior leadership experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a FQHC
  • Working knowledge of Spanish, Armenian, or Russian preferred
  • Prior experience with Patient Centered Medical Home model preferred
  • Experience with EPIC, Azara, Power BI software, and Microsoft Office
