Internal Medicine Associate Residency Program Director / Ambulatory Director in Michigan
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $200000.00 - 250000.00
We are seeking an Associate Program Director/Ambulatory Director to join an established academic Internal Medicine division at an academic center in Michigan. This faculty member’s role will work to build the residency program to prominence in concert with the acting program director.
This role will also have responsibility for leading, directing and overseeing activities and operations of the ambulatory services for the outpatient clinics. This role will come with 30% protected time, and a very competitive compensation package. This opportunity is open to internists, rheumatologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, and other specialists. Faculty appointment at the College of Medicine commensurate with academic accomplishment.

- Work to shape the future of medicine within the residency program in the areas of education, evaluation, recruitment, administration, regulatory compliance, and mentoring in conjunction with the acting program director.
- Assist with oversight of the quality of a didactic and educational environment
- Assist in the evaluation and development of faculty and residents
- Work with the program director to ensure that the program meets all requirements from the ACGME
- Take responsibility for developing and implementing the strategic plan as well as oversight of the assigned operations within Ambulatory Services as part of a leadership team
- Lead the administrative charge of the outpatient clinics through the management, coordination, and/or assessment of integrated clinical operations as part of a leadership team tasked with moving clinical operations forward.
- Assesses and supports clinical efficiencies and enhancements, operational systems, contingency staffing, staff training, strategic operational performance, and patient experience
