Chief Medical Officer opening in Exeter, NH Full-Time | Senior Physician Leadership | Multi-Specialty Group | Day Shift A multi-specialty physician group in the New Hampshire Seacoast region is seeking a full-time Chief Medical Officer to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across the organization. Opportunity Highlights:

  • Senior physician leadership role within a multi-specialty group with 15+ office locations
  • Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team
  • Provide leadership across clinical strategy, quality, patient safety, physician engagement, care coordination, and operational performance
  • Act as the primary physician liaison between the medical group, hospital leadership, and system clinical leadership
  • Lead physician recruitment, retention, onboarding, mentorship, and professional development initiatives
  • Support value-based care, population health, utilization management, patient access, and care coordination priorities
  • Drive growth across primary care, medical specialties, and surgical specialties
  • Oversee physician practice performance, including access, productivity, panel management, patient experience, quality outcomes, and financial stewardship
  • Chair and support key quality, peer review, patient safety, and patient experience committees
  • Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with early or late hours as needed Compensation and Benefits:

  • MD or DO
  • Active New Hampshire medical license
  • Board Certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible medical administration and leadership experience
  • Experience in a medical group, community hospital, or dynamic health system environment required
  • Strong background in physician leadership, clinical quality, patient safety, value-based care, and operational performance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff, senior leadership, board members, and employees
  • Recognized clinical, administrative, and personal integrity
