Now Recruiting: Chief Medical Officer - Valley Presbyterian Hospital (Los Angeles, CA)
In partnership with Valley Presbyterian Hospital, we are seeking a dynamic Chief Medical Officer to provide strategic, operational, and thought leadership in support of the mission and vision of this major health system serving the San Fernando Valley.
As a key physician leader and member of the Executive Team—reporting directly to the President & CEO—the CMO will partner closely with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and the Vice President of Quality & Performance Improvement (VP, QPI) to improve the safety, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of patient care across the organization.
Experience Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years as a practicing physician in an acute care hospital
• Proven medical staff leadership and experience leading clinical quality improvement initiatives
• Experience managing Medical Staff operations in a hospital setting
• Background in health plan utilization management, ideally with Medi-Cal capitated models
Education Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certified (past or present)
• Current or eligible California Medical License
