Permanent Medical Director – Maternal Fetal Medicine
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician – Maternal Fetal Medicine
Location: Virginia.
Shift: Monday through Friday + On call
- Patient Population: High-risk obstetric and maternal fetal medicine patients
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient consult-only service within hospital-based practice
- Responsibilities: Lead MFM practice, provide consult services, oversee inpatient and outpatient coverage, collaborate with NICU and OB teams
- Required Procedures: Maternal Fetal Medicine consultative care and fetal diagnostics
- EMR System: Viewpoint and Epic
- Support Staff: MFM physicians, Pediatrix-affiliated Neonatologists, Level III NICU team
- Days Per Month: Full-time schedule
- On-Call/Weekends: Yes, shared call coverage
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine with fellowship training
- Virginia license (or willing to obtain)
- BLS, ACLS, DEA, NPDB Self Query, and clean malpractice history
