Permanent – Medical Director – OB/GYN
Cincinnati, Ohio
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Shift: Monday–Friday (3 days office, 2 days surgery) + administrative leadership time
Start Date: TBD
End Date: Permanent Hire
Position Details:
Patient Population: Women’s health / Obstetrics & Gynecology
Setting: Hospital and clinic-based practice
Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time clinical OB/GYN care including office visits, surgery, and deliveries
- Lead and oversee the Women’s Health service line
- Guide program development and strategic growth initiatives
- Collaborate with executive leadership and multidisciplinary teams to improve quality and patient outcomes
- Mentor physicians and advanced practice providers
- Work alongside certified nurse-midwives and Maternal Fetal Medicine support
- Participate in administrative leadership duties with protected time
Required Procedures:
- Routine and high-risk obstetrics
- Gynecologic surgery
- Deliveries
- Office-based OB/GYN procedures
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: OB/GYN team, nurse-midwives, MFM support, hospital leadership
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends:
- Shared 1:6 call rotation
- Standard weekend coverage
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active Ohio license (or willing to obtain)
- Minimum 5 years OB/GYN experience
- Leadership/administrative experience preferred
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred
- NPDB self-query within 30 days
- Visa support status required (J1/H1B not accepted)
