Associate Medical Director / Physician
We are seeking an experienced Associate Medical Director/Physician who is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced community health environment. This role provides direct patient care while supporting the Medical Director in overseeing clinical operations, provider supervision, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services

Support day-to-day clinical operations and provider oversight

Supervise, mentor, and orient physicians and advanced practice providers

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

Conduct chart reviews, peer reviews, and staff evaluations

Assist with budgeting, productivity benchmarks, and grant requirements

Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
-
Assume Medical Director responsibilities as needed in leadership absence
Qualifications

MD (MPH preferred)
-
Active California medical license and DEA
-
CPR and ACLS certification
-
Minimum 3 years in primary care; 2+ years in clinical leadership

Strong knowledge of community health, underserved populations, and regulatory standards

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Salary Range
$213,870 – $219,220
