Rare Physician Leadership Opportunity This is a unique opportunity for an experienced physician leader to step into a Chief Medical Officer role within a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved communities in Southern California. This role offers meaningful executive influence while maintaining a connection to clinical care—allowing you to lead, mentor, and shape high-quality care delivery across multiple sites.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee and support all licensed providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs)
Lead provider meetings, performance reviews, and productivity coaching
Drive Quality Improvement initiatives and performance metrics
Ensure documentation accuracy, coding compliance, and timely chart completion
Maintain compliance with HRSA, PCMH, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards
Serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to organizational strategy and growth
Qualifications
Active California medical license or ability to obtain
5+ years of clinical experience with 3+ years in a leadership role
Prior FQHC or community health experience strongly preferred
