🕒 Schedule: 40 hours/week with rotating weekend participation

🔍 Role Overview
As a Medical Director, you will perform clinical reviews, evaluate complex medical scenarios, and support decision-making on requested services. This role involves regular communication with external providers, clinical interpretation, and adherence to national guidelines and organizational standards.

📝 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct timely and compliant medical necessity reviews for inpatient services
- Provide clear written and verbal determination communication
- Maintain productivity, quality, and compliance benchmarks
- Support utilization management processes
- Collaborate in a team-based environment focused on consistency and patient-centered outcomes
- Adapt to evolving workflows, tools, and utilization management best practices
🎯 Required Qualifications
✔️ MD or DO degree
✔️ 5+ years of clinical experience post-residency/fellowship
✔️ Current & ongoing ABMS Board Certification
✔️ Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
✔️ Strong written & verbal communication skills
✔️ Ability to meet credentialing and compliance standards
✔️ Team-oriented with strong analytical and interpretation skills
✨ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, or commercial plan reviews
- Utilization management experience (MCG®, InterQual®, etc.)
- Background in internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, hospitalist medicine, emergency medicine, or related specialties
- Experience in hospital-based clinical care
- Comfort with tech-enabled workflows
- Interest in professional education, mentorship, and process innovation
