This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized electrophysiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care for patients with complex arrhythmias.
Job Description:
Compensation : $400000 - $500000 Job ID : 41118
Job Function:
Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and rhythm disorders.
Perform electrophysiology studies and catheter ablations, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, and ventricular tachycardia.
Implant and manage cardiac devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and loop recorders.
Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for arrhythmia management.
Participate in EP lab procedures utilizing advanced mapping systems and intracardiac imaging.
Conduct cardioversions and lead extractions when clinically indicated.
Collaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and advanced practice providers.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech and Athena EMR systems.
Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.
Job Requirements:
M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship.
Board Certification in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (preferred).
Board Eligible candidates will also be considered.
Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut.
