This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized electrophysiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care for patients with complex arrhythmias.

Job Description:


Compensation : $400000 - $500000 Job ID : 41118
Job Function:
  • Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and rhythm disorders.

  • Perform electrophysiology studies and catheter ablations, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, and ventricular tachycardia.

  • Implant and manage cardiac devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and loop recorders.

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for arrhythmia management.

  • Participate in EP lab procedures utilizing advanced mapping systems and intracardiac imaging.

  • Conduct cardioversions and lead extractions when clinically indicated.

  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and advanced practice providers.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech and Athena EMR systems.

  • Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.


Job Requirements:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship.

  • Board Certification in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (preferred).

  • Board Eligible candidates will also be considered.

  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut.

Qualifications
